Our subdomains: websites.gamerecon.net  are not supported by our currently installed SSL certificate so when your browser tries to access a web page using https (that has no SSL certificate), it presents you with this error page.

    ssl privacy error page

All you need to do to fix the problem is…
    …change: https://
    to: http://

    as below

without the the error will go away
At this time we only have an SSL certificate installed that supports our main website https://gamerecon.net

just type “badidea” and you are in….

    or

remove the http(s):// from the address i.e just use : websites.gamerecon.net

I never heard of “badidea”, how does the URL look with “badidea” in it – http://badidea.myclan.gamerecon.net or ?

Users can have me install SSL for them if they want to go to the effort of getting a free one from let’s encrypt, then update every three months but GR will probably install a wildcard certificate if the free WPMU clan website service becomes busy.

I forgot to tell that this works only for Google Chrome.

Its not replacing the https://……. part with “badidea”, but when you get the error page, dont click on anything,  just type “badidea” and it bypasses a number of security restrictions in Chrome.
